Cisco Globalisation Centre East campus opens in Sarjapur, Bangalore, India. Accomodating 1200 people spread over 1 million square feet, the campus is home to teams in research and development (R&D), IT, and customer support.

Our new eastern headquarters in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina opens. In 1993, Cisco hires its first employee in North Carolina, growing to over 200 within two years. Simultaneous with the dedication, a second building with 50% more capacity is announced.
