Our new eastern headquarters in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina opens. In 1993, Cisco hires its first employee in North Carolina, growing to over 200 within two years. Simultaneous with the dedication, a second building with 50% more capacity is announced.

The group was selected because of its wide reach in food distribution, providing the opportunity for maximum potential impact. Second Harvest estimated that the infrastructure support alone equaled providing an additional 2 million meals.
